Today, I took things easy in Buenos Aires. My day started with a visit to the bank to withdraw some pesos. After that, I dropped off my laundry, which was ready for pickup after 6 pm at a cost of about £2.
I then strolled over to the Buenos Aires Ecological Park, located conveniently near Puerto Madero. The park was fantastic, offering long hiking and biking trails perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
For lunch, I headed to a cozy bar in the Recoleta neighborhood. It was a great spot for both delicious food and some people-watching.
In the late afternoon, I took a short bus ride to the Evita Museum, as it was nearby. I was amazed to learn about Eva Perón’s significant impact on Argentinian society. She was a committed socialist from a young age, dedicated to supporting her people. Tragically, she passed away at only 35 years old.
“Don’t cry for me, Argentina.”
