Today was a bustling day on the farm with around 60 energetic kindergarten kids joining us for hands-on learning. The children were divided into three groups of 20, ensuring each child enjoyed focused activities with the support of our dedicated team. Matio and another volunteer guided the groups, while I assisted wherever possible.
One of the day’s highlights was helping the kids knead bread, a tactile activity they loved. After kneading, they got to enjoy the bread they helped make, creating a full-circle experience. The kids were curious and quickly warmed up to me, frequently asking for my name as they got to know me better.
I also took some time to help other volunteers improve their English, adding an extra layer of learning to the day. Overall, it was a fulfilling experience contributing to the children’s excitement and learning on the farm.
