Exploring Northern Córdoba: Street Art, Rivers, and Local Monuments

I took another trip to the center of Córdoba, focusing this time on discovering the city’s vibrant north. Starting at the football stadium, I spent around 20 minutes photographing street art and murals dedicated to local heroes. Near the stadium, there was a tribute mural for a young football player and another honoring Falklands War fighters.

Continuing my exploration, I reached the river and followed its scenic path for over an hour, capturing more murals and stunning surroundings. The river was narrow and shallow, with a striking resemblance to Thunder Road in Grease. A modern pedestrian bridge offered access to riverside parks and fountains.

As the river branched further into Córdoba, it felt reminiscent of Amsterdam’s canals. I paused for a late lunch with a toasted sandwich before visiting a nearby park with a Falklands War monument and a charming fountain.

Returning to the house, I met my new housemate, and we celebrated with pizza.
