Exploring Buenos Aires: A Day of Walking Tours, Neighborhoods, and Local Culture

This morning, I woke up around 9 AM and decided to join a walking tour to immerse myself in Buenos Aires. The tour guide, Vicki, led us through classic attractions filled with historic buildings and statues. After the tour, we ventured into the charming Retiro neighborhood, a vibrant area that felt both lively and welcoming. It turns out Buenos Aires boasts the world’s longest avenue, an impressive 8-lane road connecting two major avenues.

After the tour, I spent some time in Retiro, grabbed a local beer, and took a moment to get familiar with the city. The hostel I’m staying at is conveniently located between two major avenues, making it easy to catch any bus. I even managed to get a travel card, although I’m still figuring out the local currency.

Later, I headed back to the marina for a quick look, thinking it might be a great spot to explore for nightlife in Buenos Aires. I wrapped up the day by relaxing back at the hostel, taking it all in.
